I'll remember it forever! You are absolutely right: it was totally worth the wait to gave her sign our books; and she is delightful and gracious - definitely the real deal. I was transported back to my days as an elementary student reading her stories for the first time and being shocked, and completely relieved, that someone understood how I felt. Empowering children is the right description. Thank God for Judy Blume! What an awesome, awesome experience thus was. I’ll remember it forever! I'm surprised mine are doing well. I got mine at Loews. And, they didn't have very many at the time. I also bought some fertilizer specifically for African violets but haven't tried it yet. I keep mine under a skylight and they get that same kind of light and love it. This last batch tjo' was bought at Home Depot for just 90 cents each. Thought it was a bargain at the time, but now methinks perhaps they were a little sick. I've never seen anything like this... Leaves all blotchy and discolored. I'm going to give it a little more time, but suspect I'm going to have to put them out of their misery and buy some new ones.
